Communicate

Most of the communication between club members goes on thorugh various different methods, these include: IRC, Mailing Lists, http://acm.pct.edu/, and our meetings.



IRC

We use the Freenode network for our IRC communications. To connect, you just need an IRC client. Some popular clients include:


Once you have an IRC Client installed, you will need to connect to Freenode, to do this, enter the server irc.freenode.net. We use the channel #pct acm. If you need more details connecting, Evan has written up a guide to connecting.

Mailing Lists

Occassionally, we will send out emails to members. To become a member, please Join. Other Mailing Lists that you may wish to join include:

Penn College's ACM Club helps students become more involved on campus and around the community. The members come together weekly to discuss topics and deliver computer science news to each other. In addition to the weekly meetings, we hold bi-weekly LAN parties and once a semester we sponser a a BYOC Lan Party. The ACM club meets every Thursday at 3:30pm in ATHS E208.
